Job Title: Next.js & Vercel Expert Location: Remote / Onsite (as applicable) Job Type: Full-time / Contract Experience: 4+ years (with 2+ years in Next.js and Vercel deployments)

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Next.js & Vercel Expert to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have deep experience building high-performance web applications using Next.js, and deploying/optimizing them on Vercel. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable frontend solutions with cutting-edge performance, SEO, and developer experience.

Key Responsibilities: Design and develop scalable web applications using Next.js (SSR, SSG, ISR).

Manage Vercel deployments, environment configurations, and performance optimizations.

Integrate APIs and third-party services for dynamic content rendering.

Optimize applications for speed, performance, and SEO.

Implement CI/CD pipelines using Vercel’s workflow features.

Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews.

Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences.

Stay up-to-date with modern frontend technologies and best practices.

Must-Have Skills: Strong proficiency in Next.js, including routing, data fetching methods, middleware, and edge functions.

Experience deploying and managing applications on Vercel.

Expertise in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS/SCSS.

Understanding of performance optimization techniques (e.g., lazy loading, image optimization, caching).

Knowledge of SEO best practices in server-rendered applications.

Familiarity with headless CMS (e.g., Sanity, Contentful, Strapi) and API integrations (REST/GraphQL).

Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and state management tools (Redux, Zustand).

Familiarity with analytics, A/B testing, and Vercel Analytics.

Knowledge of internationalization (i18n) in Next.js.

Contributions to open-source or personal Next.js projects.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Portfolio or GitHub showcasing past Next.js & Vercel projects.
