SharePlay revolutionizes music sharing by allowing up to 8 friends to collaborate in creating the ultimate playlist. Users designate a host who creates and names the playlist, which friends can join by downloading the SharePlay app and searching for the playlist name. This interactive music-sharing experience lets participants add songs from their own libraries, ensuring everyone enjoys a personalized and dynamic playlist.

The project began with in-depth discussions to capture user requirements and define the core features of SharePlay. Understanding user expectations for seamless playlist creation and collaboration guided the initial planning stages.


Requirements Phase

 User interface design focused on creating an intuitive and visually appealing app interface. Designers prioritized ease of use and accessibility, ensuring that participants could join playlists effortlessly and navigate the app with minimal instruction.


Design Phase

 SharePlay was developed as a native application for both iOS and Android platforms. Technologies like Swift and Kotlin were utilized to build robust frontend interfaces, while Firebase provided the backend infrastructure for real-time data synchronization and user authentication.


Development Phase

 Rigorous testing methodologies were employed to validate SharePlay's functionality and performance under various conditions. Testing included functionality tests to ensure playlist synchronization and user experience tests to gather feedback on usability and performance.

Testing Phase

The strategic launch of SharePlay on the App Store and Google Play was supported by targeted marketing campaigns to attract early adopters and music enthusiasts. Post-launch, continuous monitoring and updates were implemented based on user feedback to enhance features and address any issues promptly.
