The requirements phase began with extensive research and consultation with car enthusiasts, collectors, and industry experts to identify their needs and pain points.

The project began with a thorough analysis of the iOS app codebase and requirements translation for Android compatibility. Understanding the functionalities and user interface elements essential for VINWiki's Android version laid the groundwork for development planning.


Phase 1 Requirements Phase

The design phase focused on adapting VINWiki's intuitive user interface from iOS to Android while maintaining consistency with Android design guidelines. Wireframes and prototypes were created to streamline user interactions, ensuring that the app's navigation and features were accessible and user-friendly across various Android devices.


Phase 2 Design Phase

AppZoro's development team undertook the challenge of rewriting VINWiki for Android, utilizing Java and Kotlin to optimize performance and compatibility. Endpoints were fine-tuned to integrate seamlessly with VINWiki's backend infrastructure, ensuring robust data synchronization and user interaction capabilities.


Phase 3 Development Phase

 Rigorous testing protocols were implemented to validate VINWiki's functionality across multiple Android devices and OS versions. Compatibility testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing were conducted to identify and resolve any issues affecting app performance, usability, and security.


Phase 4 Testing Phase

VINWiki was launched on the Google Play Store after thorough testing and refinement. The deployment strategy included a phased rollout to monitor app performance and user feedback. Marketing efforts focused on promoting VINWiki's unique features and encouraging user engagement to expand the platform's community of car enthusiasts and owners.
