01 Defining the Problems

Michael Patterson worked as a set lighting technician for years. Over time, he noticed two major issues: - It’s difficult to connect crew positions with crew members and it’s difficult to find open positions as crew members. Searching through his contacts was his only option. After thinking for a while, he realized this issue could be solved by a mobile app. There was only one problem: Michael isn’t familiar with programming. He had the idea but needed help executing it.

02 Plan & Solutions

Michael attended numerous tech meetups around town, until he was introduced to AppZoro Technologies, in Atlanta Tech Village. Our team sat down with Michael to get a full understanding of his vision. We helped him understand the technical details of his requirements, and we developed a digital solution to solve this common film industry issue.

We developed a system that integrates messaging and database features, with an easy-to-use interface for users. We develop our projects without templates, from the ground-up. This helps us create a positive, seamless experience for your users.

05 Delivery & Launch

Launched in May of 2017, CopyThat quickly gained thousands of followers via word-of-mouth growth. The app is currently in use in multiple film industry hubs around the country. We will soon be releasing an upgraded version, that allows film studios to eliminate reams of paperwork, and manage crew members directly through this system. We’re proud to be a continuing part of CopyThat's journey.
