Transportation Software Development Services Built Around Your Operation
Every fleet runs differently. We map your dispatch rules, compliance load and margin pressure first, then build the system that fits how your operation actually works.
-
Fleet Management Software
Live vehicle tracking, driver assignment, fuel and maintenance records in one console, so your ops team stops rebuilding the same picture across six tabs.
-
Transportation Management Systems
TMS builds that cover order intake, carrier selection, rating, tendering and settlement, replacing the spreadsheet layer sitting between your systems.
-
Dispatch and Route Optimisation
Routing engines that weigh traffic, service windows, vehicle capacity and driver hours, then reassign loads when the day changes at eleven in the morning.
-
Freight and Load Platforms
Load boards, broker portals and carrier matching with rate benchmarks, document capture and settlement flows built for high volume freight movement.
-
Driver and Customer Apps
Transportation app software development for the phone in the cab and the one in your customer's hand, with offline capture and live delivery status.
-
Telematics and IoT Integration
ELD, sensor and camera data pulled into one stream, so temperature breaches, harsh braking and idle time surface as alerts instead of month end reports.

Your New System Talks to the Stack You Already Run
Transport software development fails at the seams, not the features. We connect to the telematics, fuel, accounting and customs systems already in place, then keep those links tested as vendors change their APIs.
Telematics and ELD
Samsara, Motive, Geotab and Verizon Connect feeds mapped to one vehicle record, with hours of service and DVIR data kept audit ready.
ERP and Accounting
NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks and Sage links so loads, invoices and settlements reconcile without a manual export step.
EDI and Freight Networks
EDI 204, 210, 214 and 990 transaction sets, plus REST connections to the major load boards and broker networks.
Fuel Cards and Payments
WEX, Comdata and Stripe integrations that post fuel spend and driver payouts against the right trip automatically.
Mapping and Traffic Data
Google Maps, Mapbox, HERE and PC Miler routing with truck attributes, toll costs and live traffic factored into ETAs.
Warehouse and Inventory
WMS and inventory links so pick completion, dock assignment and load readiness stay in sync with the yard.
Compliance and Safety
FMCSA, IFTA, customs and insurance telematics reporting, generated from live data rather than assembled at quarter end.
AI and Advanced Capabilities Built Into Your Transport Stack
We put AI into production transport systems, not demos. Every capability here runs on your live operational data, and each one hands back to a human rule when the model is not confident.
See What AI Can Do Here
-
Predictive ETA Engines
Arrival estimates trained on your own completed trips rather than generic road speed averages.
-
Demand and Capacity Forecasting
Lane level forecasts that flag where you will be short on trucks before the week starts.
-
Automated Dispatch Decisions
Assignment suggestions ranked by cost, service risk and driver hours, with the reasoning shown.
-
Document Intelligence
Bills of lading, PODs and customs paperwork read on capture, with exceptions routed for review.
-
Predictive Maintenance
Fault and sensor patterns that surface a failing component before it strands a vehicle.
-
Vision for Yard and Dock
Camera based gate, trailer and dock door checks that cut manual yard walks to a daily audit.
Built for Everyone Who Run It
Features
-
Easy Sign-Up
One board for loads, vehicles and drivers, with exception alerts, drag to reassign, and a change log that shows who moved what when a customer calls to ask.
-
Drivers
A phone app that works with no signal, captures proof at the drop, logs hours without extra taps, and never asks a driver to type what the system already knows.
-
Fleet and Operations Leaders
Utilisation, cost per mile, on time rate and maintenance exposure in one view, with the ability to drill from a red number to the specific trips behind it.
-
Customers and Shippers
A tracking portal with live status, documents on demand and self service booking, which cuts the calls your team fields about where a shipment is.
-
Maintenance and Workshop Teams
Service schedules, fault alerts and parts history per vehicle, so a truck comes off the road on your terms instead of on the roadside.
-
Finance and Billing Teams
Billing that starts from what actually happened on the road, so fuel, tolls and driver pay land on the correct invoice.
Who We Build For
Transportation software development for operators at every scale, from a first fleet system to a network wide replatform.
-
Owner Operators and Small Fleets

How We Work
Our Transportation Software Development Process
We have refined over 250+ builds. It is how we keep delivery moving without cutting the corners that cost you later.
Why Choose AppZoro as Your Transportation Software Development Company
-
We Learn the Operation First
Our scoping starts in your yard and on your dispatch floor, not on a call. The requirements that matter rarely make it into a brief, and finding them early is what keeps the build from being rewritten later.
-
Built to Hold Your Peak Week
Peak season is when transport software breaks. We load test against your busiest historical week before launch, so the system holds when every truck, driver and customer hits the platform at once.
-
Designed for Dead Zones and Gloved Hands
Drivers work in poor signal, rain and a hurry. Our field apps queue offline, sync when signal returns and stay usable with gloves on, which is the difference between adoption and a paper workaround.
-
250+ Products Behind Every Estimate
Our ranges come from a decade of shipped work across 30+ industries, not optimism. When we say five to eight months for a fleet platform, that number has completed projects standing behind it.
-
You Own Everything We Build
Source code, documentation, designs and infrastructure configuration transfer to you at every milestone. No licence fees to keep running what we built, and no dependency that makes leaving us expensive.
-
We Stay for the Release After Launch
Most of the value arrives once real trips are flowing. We stay on a quarterly roadmap after launch, tuning routing, reports and workflows against what your team actually does with the system.

Questions We Get Asked Before Every Project
What is included in your transportation software development services?
Dispatch and routing systems, driver apps, rider or customer apps, fleet and asset tracking, maintenance scheduling, compliance reporting and the admin layer that ties them together. We build the full stack including the hardware integrations, not just the interface on top of someone else's platform.
Do you build fleet management software as well as driver and rider apps?
Yes, and they work better built together. Fleet software without a driver app leaves your operations team chasing updates by phone. A driver app without a backend gives you data nobody can act on. We build both against one data model so status is the same on every screen.
Can you integrate with telematics, ELD and GPS hardware?
Yes. Telematics units, ELD providers, GPS trackers and onboard diagnostics. Most of these expose APIs of varying quality, and some need a connector layer built around them. We scope hardware integration early because it is the part most likely to hold up a launch date.
How do your apps handle poor connectivity on the road?
Offline first design. The driver app works without signal, queues actions locally and syncs when the connection returns, with conflict rules defined per action so two updates do not overwrite each other. Any transport app that assumes constant connectivity will fail its first week in real use.
Do you do automotive software development for connected vehicles?
We work on the software layer: vehicle data ingestion, diagnostics dashboards, driver behaviour analytics, remote status and maintenance prediction. We are not an embedded firmware shop. Where firmware sits inside the vehicle, we integrate with it rather than write it.
Can you work with our existing TMS or dispatch system instead of replacing it?
Yes, and it is often the right call. We integrate with what you run and build only the parts that are missing or broken. Replacing a working dispatch system is the most disruptive option available, so it should be the last one considered, not the first.
What compliance rules do you build to?
Hours of service and ELD mandate requirements, DOT record retention, driver qualification file handling and IFTA reporting where fuel tax applies. We build the data capture and reporting so the records are defensible. Your compliance team confirms what applies to your operation and jurisdictions.
Have you shipped transportation projects before?
Yes. Freedom Rideshare, Convoy Transports and Jax are published on the site with the scope of each build. Ask us to walk through the parts that went wrong on those projects as well as the parts that went well. That conversation tells you more than a case study page.
